Own a piece of computer history

The Apple-1 is undoubtedly one of the most iconic computers of all time. Of the 200 boards that were produced in 1976, only around 80 have survived. At auctions, an original Apple-1 is sold for half a million dollars and more.

There have been various replica PCBs made available for Apple fans to recreate an Apple-1 themselves. However, building a working board is not for the faint of heart. Sourcing all parts (many of them have been out of production for decades) adds complexity.

This replica is different. All the hard work has been done for you.

This replica, for the first time in close to 50 years, offers Apple enthusiasts and vintage computer fans a completely populated, wave-soldered, and fully tested board! All ICs in this replica are originals, i.e. no modern replacements for discontinued ICs have been used.

The highlights of this exclusive Apple-1 replica

  • Wave-solderd PCB (just like the original from 50 years ago). No other replica comes even close!
  • Hard gold-plated fingers on PCB (not the cheap ENIG gold "plating")
  • Includes incredibly hard to find, original ICs, for example the Signetics 2519 shift register
  • Comes with our highly appraised, exclusive replica of the Apple-1 Operation Manual featuring the schematics gatefold section. This "from scratch" recreation of insane accuracy and printed on high quality Munken Pure paper has been internationally acclaimed.

Please note: This Apple-1 replica ships exactly as the offer from 1976. It consists of the populated and tested PCB and Operation Manual only and does not include a keyboard, power supply or video monitor. Matching keyboards/adapters can be easily found on ebay, though, so can power supplies and monitors. You will receive a guide that will get you started.
